Welcome to the 9^th FAERE ANNUAL CONFERENCE!

It is our pleasure to held the 9^th annual conference of the French Association of Environment and Resources Economists at the University of Rouen Normandy from September 8^th to September 9^th 2022. The conference will be organized by the LERN (Laboratoire d'Economie Rouen Normandie) and located at the pasteur building. The conference is organized with the support of EAERE.

The aim of the FAERE annual conferences is to favor and support both the production and diffusion of researches in environmental economics at national and international levels. All theoretical as well as empirical articles in the field of biodiversity, fisheries, agriculture, forest management, water management, energy, climate, pollution, health, sustainable development or bio-economics (non-exhaustive list) are welcome.

Call for papers

Proposal, Guidelines and Rules

You are invited to submit theoretical and empirical papers in all areas of environmental and resource economics for presentation. Full papers are to be submitted through the submission website. The deadline for paper submissions is April 29, 2022. Notification of the outcome of the review process is scheduled for May 27, 2022.

The number of submissions per person is unlimited, but the maximum number of presentations in the parallel sessions per person will be limited to one (this does not include thematic and/or policy sessions). Authors must be registered for the conference by July 1, 2022 in order for their paper to be included in the programme.

FAERE Prize

During the 9 th annual conference, the FAERE prize of the best article by a young economist in the field of environmental economics will be announced. Please visit the website of the FAERE at https://faere.fr/en/faere-young-economist-award-settlement/ to read the settlement of FAERE young economist award. To apply, choose "FAERE prize of best young paper" for your submission type. Notice that acceptation to present a paper at the conference is independent to the submission type; Only if the paper is elligible, it will be considered for the prize.
